Returning this morning from a Seeker sponsored 3.5 day trip hosted by Josh Tucker. Fishing has been just incredible this past week. Coming is from our last trip with a 308lber to top this trip off with another super cow 337lber is just freaking awesome. As quickly as this fish gets with it, it falls right on its face. We were blessed to be in the right place at the right time with a great group of anglers and managed to deck tuna from 80 to 337lbs that filled our anglers coolers for there ride back to their homes and memories that will last a lifetime. A very good morning! Both the Poseidon and Constitution are sold out for this weekends 1.75 day trips. These trips depart at 11am and get you 2 hits in the dark and all your meals. The Poseidon just arrived at the dock and reported epic fishing. Over 35 fish were hooked and 11 were landed. Lots of personal bests were made. The 11 anglers were a little under gunned but had tons of fun. Remember to bring a 25-30lb, 40-50 and a 100lb setups. Size 1, 1/0, 2/0 hooks, 12-16oz torpedos with rubber bands, 250g Flat falls with the upgraded hooks and rigged with 200lb and Yozuri fluorocarbon 25,30,40,50, 60, 200lb. lThe fish are ranging from 50-just under 300lbs. The Poseidon is running for sure on Monday and it’s a very light load. I will be on my first trip and will be fishing with you guys. A great Thank You to Randy Carpenter for a very nice 3.5 day charter. Nice weather and 9 fish from 40-100lbs were captured. 150-300+ pounders were crushing crabs and tube mackerel.
